Bought this bookshelf because I wanted something different to fit in a smaller space.This was different and I thought it would look good in a corner of our stairs midway landing.There is a window with a small shelf and I put books on the shelf,but wanted something on the ground.It is actually pretty sturdy too.We do have it anchored to the wall,to be safe when the grandkids are over.This is a different way to display books and it fits nicely in the area.We would buy this bookshelf again.
